CLIENT NEED: Successfully integrated your social media with your CRM Software?

Working with a client who is seeing examples from people who have taken the Social Media universe and successfully integrated it as an aspect of their CRM Software.


This could include but isn't limited to ways that you have build your contact base directly from data off a site or contacts made through it; ways you have been able to use the software to post, track the posts of others or communicate effectively; any tips or techniques that someone has used that allow you to coordinate each effectively.


Would like to hear from people on this before 3/20/09, but if you read this after then, your input is still valid.

One quick idea is to have one's clients and prospects follow you on twitter.  Then the twitter feeds can take them to your blog, website, podcast, etc...

I haven't seen examples of being able to import stuff into a CRM automatically.  I have seen people leverage their CRM's to connect to their contacts through social media.
