Over the next few weeks we will be sending blasts that talk about different best practices for using the Motor City Connect site. This one will talk about the importance of sharing "RSVPing". RSVPing = Better networking

I can't express how beneficial the RSVP list can be to your networking efforts. Think about knowing who is going to be at the event before you actually get there. How much easier would it be to strategize your networking time?

The reason we use a calendar with the RSVP feature on this site is so you can visit the profiles of people who you will meet (assuming they fill out their profile). This one step alone can increase your networking effectiveness 10 fold. Please. Do us and yourselves two favors:

1. RSVP for the events you plan on attending

2. Fill out your profile.

It's great for us all. Quick tip: Did you know that every time you RSVP for an event you show up on the home page? Cool, eh?
