Needed: Speakers knowledgeable in workplace sexual orientation issues
On the 3rd Thursday of each month between 60 and 75 human resources professionals get together to learn various aspects of diversity. In October our topic is "The Lavender Elephant in the Room". The most controversial of all diversity topics, we want understand the sexual harassment, stereotypes, and workplace requirements relative to sexual orientation. We need people that can help us dig into this topic for a better understanding of the issues and best practices.
This is a tremendous opportunity for you to showcase self or company and to network with Oakland County's human resources professionals. If you are qualified to speak or know of someone that can take part in this event please contact me via email to rick@mbcglobal.org.
