Looking for people that have broken through the glass ceiling
On the 3rd Thursday of each month between 60 and 75 human resources professionals get together to learn various aspects of diversity. In July our topic is "The Glass Ceiling". We are looking for women that have successfully started their own business and employ 6 or more people to discuss the challenges they faced and overcame as women business owners. Special interest is how their gender has had an impact, good or bad, on hiring and managing people.
A second group we are interested in are women or minorities that have been promoted to Vice President or higher in their company.
