Hey ladies, I was asked by Christine Korda, VP of shesconnected.com to help her get some info. Will you please take a few minutes and answer her survey? Here is the note I received:

Hello Terry,
I am reaching out to you for your help.
ShesConnected.com is conducting a survey of women to gain insight of their usage of Social Media. This survey will explore current usage of social networks, the tools that power social media, and the value to women who use them. We appreciate your assistance in completing this survey. The results of this survey will be used to help deliver a quality experience for our members.
I know that many of you who received this message are not women (No, not a mistake!). Could you ask your friends, colleagues, and/or significant others who fit the demographic to complete the survey?

The survey will take approximately 5 minutes to complete.

Please click or cut and paste the link below to access the survey.

Just did it, Terry!

Me too! Wow, I'm on (5) networks and even more "groups".

Did it! And I am connected!

Wow, it's a wonder we have any time to actually "work" with all this stuff going on!

I've purposely limited myself to MCC, LinkedIn, and Facebook, and limit the amount of time I spend on each one to 15 minutes per day.

At first, I only considered MCC, LinkedIn, and Facebook, but her survey includes Blogher, Flickr and Twitter among others.

I try to post clever status updates to gauge how much people respond to topics, and do a quick scan of my connections status to keep in touch and start dialogue.

Plus I scan all of the emails for things that jump out, like this survey.

I found Rover.411 because of a comment you (Linda) made in the Mich Gifts thread, and am now collaborating with Sandy on a few things. Just proves how a single comment can make a difference... to someone. Thanks. :-)

Hi Julie -

so glad to hear you are collaborating with Sandy - she is just awesome! And, thanks for letting me know it was my comment that brought you together. I think we sometimes overlook how powerful our "off the cuff" comments can be!

I just did it too

I did it too!!!

I did it too. I have been on social networks for a long time and have a lot of stuff on there.
