The are a lot of Michigan families that need our help. WWJ 950 Radiothon is on right now thru tomorrow. They need $750,000 to help heat the less fortunate. Can we help?

It's no fun being cold!

THAW is a wonderful organization that helps people in our own backyard. They help families who have gotten behind in their utility payments and are faced with losing their electric or gas. When we go through the kinds of bitterly cold temperatures as we have this season, it is vitally important that we help, even if it is only $5.00 or $10.00. The dinner crowd should be getting home about now. Can any of you find it in your hearts to help THAW prevent down on their luck Michigan residents from losing their heat? All you have to do is call the number in the thread title. If you donate add your name to this thread, lets' see how many MCC member can help the effort.
9:50am Saturday. Approx, 2hrs. left in the THAW Radiothon. Goal is $750 Grand. The current total is $300,000. DTE is matching dollar for dollar, so the goal is doable. The Radiothon still needs approx. $75,000. A buck here, a buck there, can you help?
I called this morning and it was so easy to donate. The woman on the other end of the phone was so appreciative, it made me feel warm inside. I guess it's a reciprocal thing!
