We have goals and plans to start and ends my 2009 year. My husband and I hold each other counter able to our tasks. If you don't have a partner to hold you counter able, go out there and find a business friend or co-worker. I'm sure people want to help each other out and support each other. Invite people that you know to networking events. Make friends at networking events and keep in touch with each other.
If you don't have goals or plans yet, you need to start it right now.

You are so right, Julie!
I've recently formed a "buddy" system with two other people involved in the sales training program to which I belong. We'll be meeting every two weeks, sharing our goals, our challenges, and our successes - and keeping track of our "action items" so that we are each held accountable. After one meeting, I see the power of the process.
Having an "accountability partner" is critical for all of us, and all the more so for those of us that are more or less "on our own" in business.
