Experience the Oakland Brass Band on January 30th

Hello MCC members --

I recently met the members of The Oakland Brass Band,  an organization committed to the British brass band traditions of providing the highest quality brass band entertainment for their audiences.  

Their next performance is taking place at Berkley High School on Friday January 30th @ 8:00 pm. Tickets are $15, but they want MCC members to experience a traditional brass band, so they want to provide an MCC discount of $5 off a ticket by mentioning MCC. What a deal!

The Oakland Brass Band was founded in 2006 by several local musicians with the desire to provide Detroit area professional and semi-professional musicians with an outlet for expressing their talent through the brass band style and heritage. In October, A Board of Directors was created, non-profit status was sought for the organization and a list of interested musicians was developed.
