Hey Everyone,

As a few of you know I am a real person, not just an insurance stiff ;) I have hobbies, likes, and many other "personality traits". In years past I had a radio show called Why You Jam  which was an internet radio show  ( it was called that before podcasts) We did interviews of bands, promoted concerts, and loved everything about live improvisational music.

For the last few months I have working on putting together our archives, editing them and getting ready to post them also I have done a bunch of new interviews as I am getting ready to re-launch the website.

This New Years Eve I am hosting an event as a comeback party.  3 bands, Music as long as you can stand up for, Food, Drinks, and much more.  (Check out www.whyyoujam.com)

Now I ask you... What are you doing New Years Eve?

I say come to my party. We only have 200 tickets.  So buy your ticket now, because once we run out... you are SOL

Here are the basics...

Doors at 8 pm.

Brando Creasman and Friends opening at 9pm. http://www.brandoncreasman.com

FlopHouse is the second band at 10:15pm. http://www.flophouseband.com

Covert Operations at the stroke of Midnight. http://www.covertopsband.com

$30 for the night, it includes: food, drink, and music. You must be on the guest list and prepaid to get in we are not taking money at the door. Here is a link to buy tickets http://whyyoujamnye.eventbrite.com

The Party will be held at Magnetic Recordings (formerly RKS)
17 West Lawrence Street Pontiac Michigan 48342

We will be giving a portion of the proceeds to HOPE Hospitality & Warming Center a non profit in Pontiac. Also we will be doing a drive so bring: men's socks, men's underwear, extra hygiene products or a few bucks to donate. http://www.hopewarmingpontiac.org

Food is being sponsored by Zumba Mexican Grill in Royal Oak

This is a private party being hosted by Why You Jam and Now More Than

Ever Productions.  Check out NMTEP at www.detroitmusicupdate.blogspot.com

Hi Ben,

This sounds like a blast but I'm spending New Years Eve with my 14 yr old son. He may have a friend over and the highlight of the evening may be some bottle rockets at midnight in the back yard. I'm sure my neighbors will appreciate that.

Have a great time and happy Hanukkah as well!

Chris
