Restaurant.com's newest feature "Feed It Forward"

For those of you that are not familiar, www.restaurant.com provides discounted gift certificates for local restaurants.  For example, I recently purchased a $10 gift certificate for one of the nicer restaurants in my hometown (Brighton) for $4.  That's right, FREE money, essentially. For that reason alone, the site is worth having in your rotation of "frequently visited" (unless you eat all of your meals at home, of course!)  (There IS some fine print on some of the certificates about when you can use them, but I have yet, in 14 months of using them, to have any real problem)

I received an e-mail from them yesterday about a program they've started for the Holidays, called "Feed It Forward".  Here's the skinny.  For registered members of the site, it allows you to send 3 FREE $10 gift certificates EVERY DAY for the month of December.  You're allowed to enter a caption that will be sent to the recipient in an e-mail along with the certificate explaining to them why you sent it to them.  I sent today's 3 to my assistant who performs miracles for me on a daily basis, a good friend of mine that was forced to take the buy-out package at Chrysler recently, and my mom.  Registration for the site is a snap, and you need only enter the recipients e-mail address and your caption and you're done.  Awesome.  Super awesome.
