This is great to see - I filled out the RSVP and will see you on the 11th - Let me know what I can do to help / support this in the meantime

Excellent!  Glad you can attend this fun event.  We are always looking for volunteers who would like to help during the event, or those who will invite others to come on down and learn about our mission.

There's still time to RSVP for this free happy holiday event.  So come on out and have fun while helping kids. Laughing

We had a very nice event this past Thursday.  A special thanks to the MCCers who RSVPd or came by because of the article.

We met our goals of raising awareness and having fun.  In response to our media, we were contacted by three families in need.  They came by to meet Santa and he presented them with warm winter jackets and school supply kits.

The funniest story of the night:  Santa Claus (who was frightenedly 'real') was sporting an empty prop pipe to add to his look.  One little girl who was standing toward the back said, "Poor Santa.  Doesn't he know it's bad to smoke. He shouldnt smoke."  I, on the other hand, was grateful he wasn't like a Santa I saw at another event a couple years ago who had a flask in his inside pocket that came tumbling out on a child's lap.  Tongue out

Thanks again for your support of Operation: Kid Equip!
