Red, Green & Warmth Blowout!!! - Volunteers Needed:)
If you haven't been to the MCC Troy lunch at Bailey's Pub off Maple, you should get to the next meeting! Great place and they are going all out to accomodate us.
I went last week and had a great idea (#1,003,437, but who's counting), what if we got a blood mobile there with a radio station broadcasting from the parking lot? We could get all the businesses in the WalMart plaza on board and really make this HUGE! Bailey's is already behind it, they even made a phone call to a radio station. Bad news is station wants $5k to show up - what's up with that? Red Cross is a NONPROFIT (and so is MCC in reality!).
Who wants to help? Who has a contact at a radio station they can leverage to get free broadcasting crew in the parking lot?
Who has more ideas to share?

As I mentioned in my e-mail blast last Thursday, we are doing the drive on Tuesday, December 30. Please save the date.
I don't think we will be getting a bloodmobile as it is very limited in it's capacity. We are looking at doing this at a hotel in Troy and then moving the party to Bailey's in Troy.
I will need a headcount for those thinking about donating. I am uploading an official "Red Cross" document that I will need you to put your name on IF you will be donating blood.

Greetings All. If you're interested in donating blood on Dec. 30th for the Red, Green and Warmth to PLEASE sign in on the Sign Up sheet for the Red Cross. We need to have at least 30 blood donors confirmed for the Red Cross to support our event. The Sign Up sheet was uploaded to the MCC site by Terry today. If you can't open it let me know and I will put your info on there. We need your name, phone number and e-mail address for the form. Please contact either Terry or I with any questions.

Hey People! We need at least 30 people signed up for the Red, Green and Warmth. I became a regular donor after last years event. They called me this weekend and said they desparately needed blood so I voluntered to give this Friday. That means I can't give this December 30th. I will be bugging everyone here though. I'm like a mosquito buzzing around your head. I'm going to try to get you to give blood one way or another.
If you can't give blood maybe you can donate a few bucks or a blanket. See, there is no reason we all can't do something. Let's give people, you may need a hand some day.
I'm a salesman and you know it's sometimes said that the only way to stop a salesman from bugging you is to buy something from him. Buy doing something good please.
