Do you know we helped OKE provide school supplies for more than 13,500 children this year? Way to go OKE & Blood, Sweat & Gear!
At Operation: Kid Equip, school supplies are our primary focus year round. Operation: Kid Equip makes distributions of school supplies in September, and again in January when the most basic school supplies need to be replenished.
Operation: Kid Equip is gearing up to replenish school supplies and help provide winter coats for Metro Detroit families.
We need:
Businesses that are willing to be collection sites for coats and school supplies (thru February). These will be posted on OKE's & MCC's website to alert supporters where to donate.
People & businesses that want to sponsor a child or classrooms's school supplies ($19 per student).
And people that are cleaning out their closets and want to help keep local children warm on their way to school this year by donating coats, scarves, hats, mittens etc.
